Tried going through single user mode & the only thing recognized is the CD. Verified, Repaired & checked permissions on the main drive, came back with can't repair back up, etc., but can't back up since it's not mounted.

Had one of my original Mavericks install disks and through that disk was able to get to disk utility and found that my internal HD isn't mounted and it's there under the Main HD but greyed out. Mavericks was already installed when I received it. The best thing about this utility is that it has enough capability to retrieve files from internal as well as external hard disks on macOS Catalina, Mojave, Big Sur, and other macOS/OS X variants. I don't have the original Snow Leopard install disk that came with the system as I'm not the 1st owner. Well, there is nothing to concern, you can easily recover deleted data from a hard disk on Mac using Hard Drive Data Recovery Tool. I rebooted and it wouldn't load just grey screen w/apple logo and grey spinning cog. Mid 2010 13" Mackbook has a 1TB HD was working fine and while I was doing my work (it just went black). MacDrive 9 includes a new repair tool which will check for unmounted Mac disks.
Seriously need help to resolve this and have a few questions for possible work arounds.ġ.
